5 Days, 5 Nights, Hong Kong
Somehow, the cool weather is making me yearn to travel a lot more. It has been about two months since the trip to Hong Kong with Yeung Wing and I miss it a whole lot.
To be in a foreign land, being exposed to an entirely different language, surrounded by people that seem to have no desire to be in a rush to win a meritocratic race (well, through my eyes anyway).
Gosh. If only a luggage full of dollar bills can appear right now, on this very bed I am on, there will be no need for hesitations or thinking twice. A plane ticket will be booked and off I shall go.
But I guess it's enough with this despondent misery. Time to let the photos do some storytelling of their own.
The beauty of catching a sunrise while on a plane is more than just a granted wish let me tell you that. |
Flats and buildings along the streets of Yau Ma Tei -the very street we stayed on. |
One of the streets we ended up at while exploring the neighbourhood. |
Hong Kong gives off this old feel at night especially. And the temperature was just brilliant, by the way. |
There are plenty, plenty, plenty more pictures, trust me. This is not even a tenth of the photos I took on the first day. Shall post them up on Facebook or somewhere -when I am a little less lazy and a little more dilligent.

Beautiful post, I wish it were longer!
"The beauty of catching a sunrise while on a plane is more than just a granted wish let me tell you that." This, so much. This is how I felt on the plan back from Korea when the sun was rising and we were passing by an expanse of never ending dark forests. Gosh.
Post more woman!
